    Welcome to Broad Street!

Everyone is invited to each service at the Broad Street Church of Christ in Statesville North Carolina were a warm welcome awaits you. We at the Broad Street Church of Christ encourage you to open your Bibles with us as we study the word of God. Our goal is to be like those at Berea who,"...searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11). We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. Because the Bible is inspired it is 'profitable' when studied and applied. Paul wrote, "All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (2Tim 3:16-17). No one can be right in God's sight without application of the Bible. Do you love to hear the Bible taught and not the opinions of men? Then you will love the services at Broad Street. It is this congregations stand on the scriptures that make us distinctive. Come and hear the difference of 'thus saith the Lord'. Come and see for yourself the simplicity and sincerity that is found at Broad Street, "For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward" (2Cor 1:12).
